The recommendations of the British Thoraci Society differ from those from the United States. It continues to recommend six months of isoniazid, but if rifampicin is used, the recommendation is to use the isoniazid plus rifampicin regimen fo three months duration which was established as efficacious in the silicosis trial in Hong Kong.
